Our Family

We are the Martin Family! We live on a ranch in beautiful Unionville, Nevada. Our ranch sits nestled in a beautiful, remote canyon in Northern Nevada. We are a family operation and our kids are involved in our day to day. We originally started our goat journey with a small herd of Nubian dairy goats we milk for our own use, one goat soon turned into four hundred as we developed a herd of animals to meet the fire mitigation needs for ourselves and our neighbors. We have been grazing goats for fire mitigation, noxious weed control, and remediation for historical, and riparian sites for around five years. Spanish goats are our breed of choice and we also added some sheep to our program this year! As well as our grazing program we offer onsite retreats, cheese making classes, children's farm experiences, as well as goat yoga and shamanic drumming sessions and retreats.
